Meet the Team
Diane Steiger
I am an independent college consultant and the founder of Matrix College Consulting. I strive to guide students through the entire application process, providing individualized and customized attention. I direct students in finding colleges that fit them academically, socially, and financially. Then my focus is to assist students in creating an application that sets them apart from the crowd, highlights what they have to offer the college, and why they are a great fit.
Locally, I work with students in the greater Columbus area, including Dublin, Powell, Worthington, Hilliard, and Upper Arlington. Using virtual platforms, I can work with students in any location.
I have worked in high school and college settings for 14 years. One of my favorite aspects of teaching and consulting is getting to connect with teens and young adults. They have so much to share about their unique life experiences, and it is invigorating to learn about their future paths and goals. When working with students, I often learn from them as much as they do from me.
As a parent of young adults, I understand that teenagers often thrive with help from a third party! It’s no surprise that many parents struggle to communicate with their teenagers. I enjoy working with families, and can help ease the stress on the parent-child relationship that often comes from a high-stakes process.

Georgia Steiger
Hi! I am excited to work with your child as they prepare for the SAT or ACT. I just completed my undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in Bioengineering, and I am about to begin working on my Masters in Bioengineering, focusing on principles of drug discovery. I am proud to continue my family's commitment to successful student outcomes.
I have been tutoring students since high school, and have been a peer mentor at my university. I completed co-ops at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Jnana Therapeutics. I self-studied to attain near-perfect SAT and ACT scores in high school. I’m also currently studying to become an EMT.
I enjoy reading, weightlifting, exploring the cities around Boston, and attending heavy metal concerts.
My Philosophy
Every student deserves to find a best-fit college academically, socially and financially. Because I work with students over the course of months or years, I get to know their strengths and unique qualities to uncover some of their best values, skills and interests. Working with me, families will be able to streamline decisions and students will work within manageable timelines. I strive to take the stress out of fact-finding and decision making so that at the end of the process, students will find the school that is right for them.
